Swansfield Park
The Trust has for several years campaigned for a park to be installed on the site of the old Charles A Nelson swimming pool which was closed after the building of the brand new sports and leisure facility in 2004.
Affordable Housing
It is the intention of the Trust to help local people stay in their community by providing affordable housing to purchase and/or rent.
The Centre, 27 Fenkle Street
Officially opened in 2005 by His Grace, The Duke of Northumberland, The Centre is a hub of activity and home to many of the community organisations operating in Alnwick.

In conjunction with Alnwick District Council, the Trust has been instrumental in the provision of Alnwick's high quality town maps, display cases and map dispensers.

Continental and French markets are now a regular and popular feature in Alnwick and plans are under way to develop a Christmas market.
Alnwick Spring Show
The Trust is actively involved in Alnwick in Bloom and the Alnwick Spring Show. The Trust Manager is the Treasurer of Alnwick in Bloom and Secretary of the Alnwick Spring Show. The 2008 show was a tremendous success and plans are already underway for a bigger and better show in 2009.
Fairtrade
Alnwick was designated a Fairtrade town in March 2006 and continues to encourage people to buy Fairtrade goods especially if they are unable to 'buy local'. To achieve the status of a Fairtrade town, 5 goals had to be met...
Town Crier UK Championship
Thanks to determined efforts by Anne Shilton, Project Development Officer, and John Stevens, Alnwick Town Crier, the Trust has been successful in securing the 2008 UK Town Criers Competition for Alnwick.
Market Town Welcome
Market Town Welcome is a programme developed by Northumberland Strategic Partnership on behalf of One NorthEast. The Market Town Welcome project will help the town and its tourism businesses to develop a strong identity for Alnwick.
